T4 Group Partners with NTT to Provide its Data Center Infrastructure in New Zealand

T4 Group, Australia’s leading IT Provider, today announced a lead partnership with NTT Ltd, a leading global technology services company, to provide their NZ Data Center infrastructure as it continues to lead the way in data centers in New Zealand.

T4 Group, which was founded in 2021, gives regional New Zealanders access to colocation data centers that are eco-friendly, dependable, secure, and profitable. A third data center is now being built in Southland, and T4 Group currently runs two in Whangrei and Auckland.

All of the data centers owned by T4 Group are colocation facilities, offering rack space for customers to house and operate their own servers and hardware in a protected setting. The T4 Group crew keeps an eye on them round-the-clock to guarantee a 100% effective uptime.

On the other hand, NTT Ltd. is a top provider of IT infrastructure and services, creating a connected future, and it offers cutting-edge solutions to many of the biggest businesses in the world. The edge of IT environments is where NTT innovates by creating an edge-to-cloud networking ecosystem, streamlining the complexity of workloads across many cloud environments.

According to David Simpson, T4 Group Director, the teamwork deserved to be honored. That collaborating with NTT is an exciting move for the company in the correct direction because both organizations have similar views on the environment and goals, and we will be able to ensure sustainability is at the forefront of our operations because of this.

The values of T4 depend heavily on its sustainability stance. Rack cooling in data centers typically uses a lot of electricity. While heated air will be removed and used by a sizable local firm, the architecture of the newest Tier 4 center in Southland will maximize cold natural airflow to greatly reduce dependency on powered cooling equipment.

Simon Gillespie, NTT New Zealand CEO, also agreed with Simpson because he claims that they share T4 Group’s commitment to sustainability and are determined to work together to serve their respective clients and local communities.

Moreover, for Jason Porter, T4 Group Director of Technology, the partnership with NTT was a significant accomplishment that helped the company expand and forge solid ties with leaders in the field. No one else in New Zealand can match what they offer, thus they are overjoyed to be teaming with NTT by offering their data center infrastructure at the greatest level of capabilities and security.

T4 Group is constantly searching for methods to save waste and boost productivity. They are dedicated to minimizing our operation’s carbon footprint, which calls for ongoing evaluation of our practices and the adoption of changes. Additionally, as they work to reduce their carbon footprint, their clients place more and more importance on it.

Furthermore, with 500 rack spaces available in their Auckland Tier 3 accredited Data Centre, T4 Group is continuing to diversify its regional supply while assuring the highest security requirements in New Zealand.
