ZTE Corporation, global leader in telecommunications and information technology, has announced that it has helped DITO Telecommunity, one of the major telecommunications companies in the Philippines, launch the DITO Super Core Data Center in Batangas, Philippines.
As the primary partner in this project for DITO Telecommunity, ZTE has contributed a wealth of end-to-end expertise, from early project analysis of local process specifications to consultation on construction solutions to design of solutions and project delivery, ensuring the timely and seamless turnover of the data center.
The building equipment management has included ZTE’s iDCIM Intelligent Management System to increase data center operating effectiveness and achieve green energy savings. The system controls the data center’s operational parameters in real-time and provides data support for effective O&M and energy conservation.
The DITO Super Core Data Center uses ZTE’s modular and standardized micro-module solution as opposed to the traditional data center, which has many interfaces, intricate processes, and a lengthy building period. The delivery time can be slashed by 60% by installing many modules simultaneously.
“We can regard the DITO Super Core Data Center as the heart of the body. Only a safe and healthy beating heart can support the business. The data center adopts the advanced and innovative technology in the industry. Through its multiple-level protections, the data center is truly reliable,” said Wan Min, President of ZTE Philippines
Wan Min further stated that it would establish itself as the country’s first Uptime Tier-III data center. With an intelligent energy management system that is effective and ecologically friendly, it has reduced PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) by adhering to energy conservation and emission reduction.
With the launching of the DITO Super Core Data Center, the DITO Telecommunity has further demonstrated its dedication to offering the Filipino people top-notch telecommunications services and advancing the country’s digital transformation.
