DITO Telecommunity Launches Super Core Data Center

Launching of DITO Super Core Data Center in Batangas City, Philippines

DITO Telecommunity, a telecommunications company in the Philippines, has launched the first of its two cutting-edge Super Core Data Centers in Batangas City.

The DITO Super Core data center incorporates modern industry innovation technology and adopted a number of security protocols, making it the first tier 3 data center in the Philippines and the first to receive this certification. Additionally, in order to improve running efficiency, it is also equipped with artificially intelligent management.

 

 

The DITO super core data center’s design guarantees network transmission security while enhancing its capacity to withstand natural disasters like typhoons and earthquakes. Moreover, in keeping with the telecommunications industry’s growing understanding of energy efficiency and sustainability, the facilities and equipment used are entirely environmentally friendly.

“We, in DITO Telecommunity, including our partners, have pushed forward and helped lead to our success in reaching milestone after milestone. This serves as testament to our commitment as we find ourselves at the doorstep of the future for Philippine telecommunications,” said Retired Major General Rodolfo Santiago, DITO Chief Technology Officer.

Since reaching the milestone of 12 million subscribers, DITO has remained steadfast in its mission and vision to unite Filipino communities by fostering better connectivity and advancements in the shift to a digitally oriented way of life.
