True Internet Data Center (True IDC) has launched the first learning center for data centers and clouds in Thailand which was created with the concept of “Infinite Reflection to Your Digital Journey,” which refers to the endless reflection between the current need for digital transformation and digital infrastructure support.
The True IDC Experience Center is a component of the True Digital Park, catering to startups and technology entrepreneurs. It comprises two distinct areas: the data center zone and the cloud zone.
Both zones within the True IDC Experience Center aim to enhance visitors’ understanding and expertise by delivering information in a user-friendly manner. They offer valuable insights and hands-on experiences, enabling visitors to expand their technological knowledge.
Additionally, the center provides consultation and guidance based on accurate principles, fostering a deep comprehension of technology infrastructure and encouraging the utilization of robust technological solutions.
The Data Center Zone allows visitors to experience the data center facilities. Through a virtual exploration, visitors can gain deeper insights into the operations of the data center by taking a 360-degree tour, immersing themselves in an authentic and typically private environment.
Meanwhile, at the Cloud Zone, by exploring a diverse range of exhibits, visitors can delve into the intricate mechanisms of cloud systems that form the backbone of numerous online platforms in our daily lives. Moreover, they can acquaint themselves with cutting-edge cloud solutions provided by renowned service providers.
According to Ken Research, Thailand Data Center and Cloud Services Market witnessed growth from around US$440 million and US$445 million in 2017 to approximately US$ 550 million and US$ 1,390 million respectively in 2022.
The market is expected to expand further and reach approximately US$840 million and US$3,600 million for data center and cloud services respectively by 2027.
With this growth in the market, Theerapun Charoensak, General Manager of True IDC, said that the inauguration of the True IDC Experience Center aims to disseminate knowledge and foster fresh experiences for a wide range of stakeholders, including government agencies, private organizations, educational institutions, and the general public.
This initiative caters to individuals with a keen interest in understanding world-class data centers and their operational frameworks. Furthermore, it paves the way for a learning journey in cloud services, which are becoming increasingly indispensable in the realm of the digital economy.
