AI, 5G, Cloud to Fuel Data Center Power Market

The Data Center Power Market is expected to witness exponential growth by 2026, according to research from Graphical Research. The need for data center power is anticipated to rise over the next five years due to the spread of new technologies including artificial intelligence (AI), the internet of things (IoT), 5G, and cloud, the report said.

These cutting-edge technologies are anticipated to be integrated into the systems utilized by manufacturing companies leading to a growing pressure on the IT infrastructure.

It’s expected that the IT infrastructure of the future will use cutting-edge power supply techniques to handle these demands. A new trend in the industry is a growing propensity for personalized services, which has allowed service providers to meet the unique needs of the end-users.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been an enormous increase in the need for data centers worldwide. This is because more people are using work-from-home options and more people are watching OTT platforms.

Additionally, the emphasis on reducing energy consumption in America; the escalating demand for OTT services across Canada and the U.S.; the digitalization of the North American healthcare sector; the growing demand for online banking across Asia; the increased internet penetration across APAC; the extensive adoption of European cabling infrastructure; and the growing requirement across the globe are all trends that are anticipated to accelerate the global data center power market outlook through 2026.
