Etihad GO Telecom Co. (GO), a Saudi Arabian joint-stock telecommunication company, has awarded a SAR 185.9 million (US$ 49.39 million) cloud artificial intelligence (AI) data center project to Total Technical Triangle Company (3T), an IT services, system integration, and consulting company, as part of its strategy to expand into AI and cloud computing services.

According to a filing on the Saudi Exchange this week, the project includes advanced computing systems from Dell Technologies equipped with NVIDIA GPUs as well as the hardware, systems, and technical licenses required to operate the data center. The project implementation period is currently set to 12 months, in accordance with the technical specifications and scope of work agreed upon by GO and 3T.

On Monday, GO announced it had signed a binding agreement with Izdihar Alraqmiah Company For Information Technology (ezditek) to lease dedicated space in a data center.

The space will be used to provision AI services as part of GO’s efforts to strengthen its digital infrastructure and expand its capabilities in order to grow its data center and technology services offerings.

The agreement will span five years, with total contractual fees of SAR 76.85 million (US$ 20.42 million), excluding value-added tax. The agreement can be renewed for an additional five years. It is anticipated that the financial impact of the agreement will begin in Q4 of the 2026/2027 fiscal year.

The name of the data center was not disclosed nor whether these two deals are related.

“This agreement represents a continuation of Etihad GO Telecom Co. strategic direction toward strengthening its presence in the digital infrastructure and data center market, and developing an integrated portfolio of value-added technology services and solutions, thereby enhancing its ability to meet the growing demand for digital services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” the company said in a Saudi Exchange filing.

According to Arizton Advisory & Intelligence, the data center market in Saudi Arabia was valued at US$ 2.08 billion in 2025 and is expected to reach a value of US$ 6.17 billion by 2031. This growth will be driven by the rising adoption of AI, digitalization, smart city projects, cloud computing, sustainability initiatives, and improved subsea cable and inland connectivity. The country’s Personal Data Protection Law is also supporting data center investments by strengthening data sovereignty and privacy requirements, encouraging enterprises to host workloads locally.
