We are back in Taipei with the Taiwan Cloud and Datacenter Convention (TWCDC), a premier gathering of the movers and shakers of Asia’s digital infrastructure industry. This day-long event will be held on April 17, at the W hotel in Taipei, and is expected to bring together over 700 delegates, including top executives and key decision makers from the cloud and data center industry in the region.

Check out the stellar line up of industry experts who will be speaking at TWCDC:

“TWCDC brings together the full ecosystem of cloud computing, data centers, and cooling innovations,” says RT Huang, Director, Data Center Cooling Technology, Technology Enablement, Super Micro Computer, Inc. “As a native of Taiwan, I am drawn by the opportunity to showcase Taiwan’s influence in this field and engage with peers across the ecosystem to exchange practical insights, contributing to the advancement of high-performance, energy-efficient, and sustainable data centers in Taiwan and beyond.” He will be moderating a power-packed panel discussion on the topic – Power and Cooling Strategies for AI Data Centers in Power-Constrained Markets.

“What drew me to TWCDC 2026 is the opportunity to better understand how Taiwan’s digital infrastructure ecosystem is evolving in response to regional growth, AI demand, and changing investment dynamics,” says Weng Yew Wong, Managing Director, Open DC. “I’m especially looking forward to exchanging perspectives with industry leaders, investors, and operators on where the next wave of infrastructure opportunity will emerge across Asia.” He will be moderating a panel discussion on the topic – Global and Taiwan Operators in Dialogue: Investing and Operating Data Centers in the AI Era. He would also be participating in the panel discussion on the topic – The Future of the Enterprise Colocation and On-prem Market: Will AI Push Everything Toward Hyperscale Build to Suit.

His fellow panelist, Sutedjo Tjahjadi Sales Director, Asia Pacific, CloudSigma, says, “We are witnessing an unprecedented era of growth where AI intelligence is scaling exponentially. Yet, amidst this rapid evolution, the human network remains our most valuable and irreplaceable asset. This is what draws me to the Taiwan Cloud & Datacenter Convention 2026: the opportunity to collaborate with a community that transforms shared industry challenges into collective success.”

Alex Leung, Senior Enterprise Architect, Akamai, says, “I’m excited to join TWCDC because it brings together the communities shaping the future of AI infrastructure. As intelligence moves closer to where data is generated, we need to rethink not just compute, but how systems are designed end-to-end—from edge to cloud.” He will be participating in a panel discussion on the topic – Edge AI: Why Intelligence Is Moving Closer to the Data and What It Means for Infrastructure.

“It is my privilege to be invited to TWCDC 2026 as a keynote speaker. I was drawn to the event because it brings together leaders who are shaping the future of cloud, datacenter, and AI infrastructure at a pivotal moment for the industry,” says William Wei, CMO & EVP, Skymizer, who will also join Leung in the panel discussion. “As Agentic Edge AI moves from vision to deployment, forums like TWCDC play an important role in advancing strategic dialogue, industry collaboration, and innovation across the ecosystem.” He will also be delivering a keynote address on the topic – Next Generation Architecture of Agentic Edge AI.

We will have several other panel discussions and presentations on a wide variety of subjects such as artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, connectivity and distributed intelligence.
