Thylander Data Centers (TYDC), a Danish real estate developer and investor, which established itself in 2025 as a data center platform, has attracted investment from several prominent Danish firms to build a fully Danish-owned data center platform amid rising demand for secure digital infrastructure.

In a press release the company revealed that these new investors include Systematic Holding Aps, Sagitta Ventures Aps, WECO A/S, and E. Bank Lauridsen Holding A/S. Several of them have prior connections with Thylander and bring operational and strategic expertise to the platform.

Bjarke Mikkelsen, CEO, Thylander, said, “We are well underway with the development of our first data center in Esbjerg, but it is just the beginning of our journey to build a leading data center platform in the Nordics to build deep operational capabilities and a long-term development pipeline for a leading platform.”

Anders Frich Mathiesen, Chairman, Danish Data Center Industry, said, “Denmark has all the prerequisites to host world-class digital infrastructure, green energy, network connectivity, a solid regulatory framework, and geopolitical security with the highest standards for security, sustainability, and operational excellence.”

Michael Holm, Founder and Chairman, Systematic Holding Aps, said, “Through Systematic, we directly experience the demand for this type of digital infrastructure and it is only going to accelerate in the coming years. We look forward to contributing wherever we can to help build the platform.”

TYDC is managed by Anders Frich Mathiesen, chairman of the Danish Data Center Industry (DDI), to develop the platform which can develop, build, and operate data centers while raising capital and managing investments at different project stages.
