Larsen & Toubro Vyoma, the digital infrastructure arm of L&T, has broken ground for its upcoming 40 MW green, AI-ready data center at Mahape in Navi Mumbai. This is part of a 100 MW data center campus planned in the city.
In a press release, L&T Vyoma revealed that the Navi Mumbai data center is “purpose-built to support Build-to-Suit, Enterprise and NeoCloud workloads,” delivering high-density computing for AI and mission-critical applications. It further says, “Equipped with Direct-to-Chip Liquid Cooling, the facility enables efficient thermal management for advanced AI workloads while ensuring scalability, resilience and sustainability.”

The Mahape data center represents a significant step in L&T Vyoma’s national expansion plans, which targets over 200 MW of capacity across India. This encompasses key digital hubs including Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
