YIT, a European construction company, and atNorth, a Nordic data center service provider, have partnered to design and build a new data center in Myllykoski, Kouvola, Finland. The facility will become part of atNorth’s FIN04 data center campus with a total capacity of 430 MW and valued at approximately €300 million (US$ 343 million) and will be added to YIT’s order book in the third quarter of 2026.
According to a press release, construction will begin immediately, with completion expected by the end of 2027. YIT will deliver the project under a comprehensive design-build contract covering design, civil, structural and architectural (CSA) works, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) works, and commissioning.

The Myllykoski site is atNorth’s fourth data center location in Finland and the company plans for the FIN04 campus to be fully powered by renewable energy and designed to allow reuse of excess heat generated by the facility, including in the local district heating network.
