Vantage Data Centers has appointed Sharad Agarwal as the Vice President, Business Development- Asia.
Vantage Data Centres powers, cools, protects and connects the technology of the world’s well-known hyperscalers, cloud providers and large enterprises.
Developing and operating across five continents in North America, EMEA and Asia Pacific, Vantage has evolved data centre design in innovative ways to deliver gains in reliability, efficiency and sustainability in flexible environments that can scale as quickly as the market demands.
Agarwal was previously working with Amazon Web Services as Data Center Delivery Leader- South Asia and South East Asia wherein he lead the planning and delivery of usable data centre capacity (space, power, cooling and environment) for all AWS regions in South Asia and ASEAN.
“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Vice President, Business Development- Asia at Vantage Data Centers,” said Agarwal in a LinkedIn post.
Agarwal has also worked for companies like Orange Cloud for Business, GTL Limited, TIE Commerce and Canon USA Inc.
DigitalBridge Investment Management, Vantage’s major stakeholder, along with participation from other existing investors, contributed an additional $1.5 billion in equity capital, giving a further fillip to the region’s digital ambitions.
