Ravi Pichan joins RBL Bank as Chief Information Officer

RBL Bank has appointed Ravi Pichan as Chief Information Officer. He will be responsible for driving the Bank’s technology strategy and creating a technology innovation gateway to foster a constant innovation culture.

During his 28-year career in the BFSI industry, Ravi Pichan has managed complex portfolios of IT investments across organizations and geographies, led technology strategies, and implemented transformation programs aligned with business objectives.

Pichan joins RBL Bank from HDFC Life, where he served as Chief Information and Technology Officer. He also held leadership positions at Larsen & Toubro Infotech, Capgemini, Barclays, and Bank of America.

Ravi Pichan, Chief Information Officer of RBL Bank, said:

“I am thrilled to join the team and look forward to enabling the Bank in achieving its growth objectives. RBL Bank has a robust technology architecture and I aim to augment it while driving scalable solutions with agility. We will be focusing on improving operational efficiency and creating a culture of continuous innovation aligned to business strategies.”

“Pichan joins us with an extensive background in delivering technology solutions that are cost-effective, innovative, and aligned to business strategy, which is the need of the hour considering the IT transformation underway at the bank.”

 

In addition to driving the digital transformation for RBL Bank, Pichan will also be responsible for implementing agile and cost-effective solutions to improve operation efficiency, automating processes and simplifying manual processing within the organization, as well as establishing a technology innovation hub to foster a culture of continuous innovation within the organization.
