American experience management company Qualtrics has announced that the Qualtrics XM/OS may now be accessed locally in Japan, through the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud in Japan. In addition, Qualtrics has also expanded into a new headquarters within Japan, to support growing demand from local businesses and governments and enhance users’ experience.
Since its first venture into Japan in 2018, Qualtrics has rapidly scaled its local operations to assist its customers, such as Shiseido Group, Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Fujitsu, and Lixil, by helping these companies to capture and understand insights about their customers and employees.
Affirming Qualtrics’ Long-term Commitment to Japan
Qualtrics made the Qualtrics XM/OS available throughout Japan via AWS Cloud, which gives Japanese customers an option to upgrade to its services similar to existing offerings across North America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific.
The new Qualtrics Japan headquarters reflects Qualtrics’ commitment to Japan and Japanese customers, as it spans over 19 500 feet in the Shin-Marunouchi Building and has a prime location in front of Tokyo Station.
Beyond the location shift, Qualtrics has also expanded and updated its local operations in Japan. In the past year, Qualtrics has launched a number of Experience Management Solutions, including a user-requested Stress Assessment Tool which enables organisations to collect and integrate feedback from their employee’s annual stress tests. This tool is necessary and useful to meet legal requirements, that employers in Japan must take action to curb employee stress.
Satoru Kumashiro, Country Manager for Qualtrics in Japan, affirmed Japan’s significance to Qualtrics, saying that “Japan is a key market for Qualtrics globally, and these latest developments reinforce our long-term commitment to the country, expanding the services, support, and expertise offered.”
“In these uncertain times, experience management is more important than ever and Qualtrics gives Japanese organizations the ultimate advantage by helping them build deeper, personal relationships at scale to drive meaningful business outcomes.”
