Oracle will collaborate with Ankabut, the UAE’s Advanced National Research and Education Network that connects academic institutions to global education networks, to develop one of the region’s top educational initiatives. During GITEX Global 2022, the two organisations agreed to a memorandum of understanding (MoU) defining their future collaboration.
By utilising Ankabut’s comprehensive portfolio of cloud apps and infrastructure, the alliance solidifies Oracle as a long-term technology solution provider and strategic technology partner. Oracle has been chosen by Ankabut as a partner in the development of the new educational ecosystem and cloud platform services. The two organisations will now collaborate to use Oracle to increase the current footprint, boosting the UAE’s position as a pioneer in educational services and quickening digital transformation in the process. Ankabut will be able to offer cutting-edge services to educators in the UAE and throughout the region thanks to the expanded Oracle cloud platform capabilities.

Ankabut, which is run by Khalifa University and has connections to over 70 sites around the UAE and more than 30 institutional members, provides UAE academic and research institutions with connectivity to other education networks on a global scale.
