According to the Lingshui International Investment Promotion Bureau, the establishment of cloud services will enhance the support for companies in the digital cultural sector that are setting up offices in Lingshui Li Autonomous County, located in South China’s Hainan province.
The inauguration of the Lingshui Digital Cultural Industry Cloud represents a significant milestone in the advancement of Lingshui’s digital cultural sector. It plays a pivotal role in fostering a fresh ecosystem of collaboration, infrastructure development, and resource sharing within the digital cultural industry of the region.
Capitalizing on its strengths in computing capabilities, cross-border data access, local context, talent pool, and the growth potential associated with an international underwater cable landing station, the world’s inaugural commercial underwater data center, and the Lingshui Li’an International Education Innovation Experimental Zone, this Cloud platform offers a diverse array of services, including cloud storage, flexible public network IP, load balancing, and cloud interconnection.
During the roundtable discussion at the launch event, entrepreneurs hailing from relevant domains engaged in dialogue regarding the novel ecosystem within Lingshui’s digital cultural industry. The discourse aimed to foster innovation and spur research and development efforts among enterprises operating within the digital ecosystem.
Many expressed their intentions to establish a professional service ecosystem that caters to the global outreach of the digital cultural industry. Their objectives encompass resource consolidation, support for factor mobility for companies, and the attraction of global corporations and talent to invest in Lingshui.
Lingshui formalized an investment cooperation agreement with six companies, including Tencent Cloud Computing (Hainan) Co., further solidifying its commitment to nurturing the growth of the digital cultural industry.
Looking ahead, Lingshui has set goals, targeting the introduction and nurturing of 10 to 20 cloud services and affiliated enterprises by the year 2025. This effort is geared towards establishing a comprehensive cloud services industry that encompasses foundational cloud services catering to both domestic and international markets, industry intelligence enhancement, developer innovation, and incubation of digital industry initiatives, as outlined by a representative from the Lingshui International Investment Promotion Bureau.
