PT Aesler Grup Internasional Tbk (RONY) has signed a cooperation agreement regarding a data centre construction with Huawei Digital Power.
As a part of this agreement, Aesler Data Centre will be build in series of EcoGreen-interconnected data centre chain across Indonesia called AESLER-GREENIX, with a total capacity of 88 megawatts (MW), across several locations. AESLER is a public listed company in Indonesia Stock Exchange under ticker name “RONY”.
The first AESLER-GREENIX Mark 1 will be one of Indonesia FIRST GREEN Data Center Chain that consist of 16 MW, 2500 racks, Power Usage Efficiency of 1.4 that complies with Green Data Center Requirement. The Mark 2 will be built in the size of 16 Megawatts and Mark 3 at the size of 56 Megawatts.
Jang Rony Juwono, President Director of RONY said that this first data centre would become a digital bridge that would facilitate “international digital trading for Indonesia.” The Aesler-Greenix Mark 2 is estimated to have a capacity of another 16 MW, while the Mark 3 would be 56 MW.
Mark 1 AESLER-GREENIX will be established at the heart of Batam, 45 minutes from Singapore to become the digital bridge for International digital trades for Indonesia. AESLER cooperated together with HUAWEI Green Data Center Technology using the latest Prefabricated Technology and Artifical Intelligent Control System that will help to transform Indonesia into The Era of Digital Technology. The Green Movement by AESLER-GREENIX is commited to reduce the power consumption and carbon footprint as well as maximising renewable energy and maintaining sustainable construction using recycled materials and eventually setting benchmark for eco-earth friendly development.
As of September 2021, RONY owned total assets of IDR 38.66 billion. Its revenue through January-September (9 months) 2021 reportedly reached IDR 2.07 billion, decreasing approximately 50 per cent when compared to the same period last year. The Indonesian data centre market has experienced significant growth over recent years, following an increasing demand for internet and social media.
