Telecom company Dong Nai Telecommunications (VNPT) has signed a cooperation agreement with the People’s Committee of Bien Hoa City to improve the efficiency of digital transformation in the city.
This agreement is for the period of 2022-2026 with a number of important contents such as: providing solutions, applying information technology to serve the project transfer change numbers; building smart cities; cooperation in the field of construction and development of digital infrastructure; cooperate in completing solutions to ensure information safety and security; cooperation in the field of human resource development in telecommunications, information technology and development of the information technology industry.
At the conference, leaders of departments and leaders of People’s Committees of wards and communes in the area were discussed by representatives of VNPT Dong Nai about the necessity and necessity of digital transformation now and in the future. At the same time, emphasis was placed on solutions to implement digital transformation in all areas of social life, as well as in state management.

In this initiative, 14 important areas will be focused on such as: raising awareness about digital transformation of ministries, party members and people of all strata, and operation of the city management center. smart city, deploying Bien Hoa SmartCity application, deploying online meeting platforms, developing e-commerce platforms, digital transformation in small and medium enterprises, educational healthcare platforms to promote full of socio-economic development, digitisation of reports.

As the second-fastest-growing Internet economy in Southeast Asia, Vietnam records one of the highest e-payment growth rates in the world, about 35% per year.
