NEA Digital Week Hong Kong 2022

Wednesday, 1st June 2022, 9.25am – 11.15am (GMT +8)

Hong Kong is being ranked as one of the most important data center hub among Asia-Pacific countries, and the top position for Northeast Asia region. As one of the leading international financial centers and the dominant gateway to China, Hong Kong plays a vital role within the region as it generates great demand for data centers, cloud computing, Internet of Things, logistics, and many more.

With the growth of financial services, insurance, international trading, telecommunication, and logistics sectors, the demand for data center services is increasing at an astronomical speed. The Hong Kong government has been giving its strong support for data center industry with favorable policies such as land supply development and low tax environment.

Although there is available usage of electricity and water, the existing power supply may not reach the great demand of hyperscale data centers. The respect of privacy is also taking into concern with the imposing of National Security Law by Mainland China.

Join us together at the Digital Week Hong Kong 2022 to be at the forefront of the discussion the massive game-changing developments in the industry, and the reverberations it carries for all major players within Hong Kong as well as the North East Asia’s Cloud Ecosystem.
