w.media’s Cloud & Datacenter Awards encourages industry transformation and innovation by recognising achievement and excellence.
Since 2018 our following has grown exponentially across the Asia Pacific. IT and data center professionals from both established and younger markets have come forward in multitudes to network and learn through w.media’s platforms and the Awards are following that path.
2025 Awards Milestones
A New Standard of Excellence
As the digital infrastructure industry enters a new phase of growth driven by AI, cloud, and global connectivity, the definition of excellence is rapidly evolving. The traditional 3P framework, which focused on core areas of performance and delivery, no longer fully captures the complexity and responsibility required to operate at scale today.
Organizations are now expected to go beyond execution. They must innovate continuously, manage energy and power constraints responsibly, invest in people and communities, and operate with clear purpose and long-term vision. In response, we are introducing a more comprehensive 5P Awards Framework.
The expanded model recognizes achievement across five critical pillars: Project, Platform, Power, Planet and People. Together, these pillars reflect not only how organizations perform today, but how they are preparing for the future.
This transition ensures that our awards remain aligned with the industry’s most important priorities: from sustainability and energy resilience to technological innovation and societal impact. More importantly, it sets a higher benchmark for leadership, recognizing those who are not only building and operating infrastructure, but shaping the future of the digital economy.
The 5P framework represents the next standard of excellence.
