Cloud provider eCloudvalley Partners with Databricks for Accelerating AI

eCloudvalley will partner with Databricks, the Data and AI company for accelerating its Data and AI push, in an effort to help businesses use the cloud and data platforms to make quick and accurate choices.

Databricks is a pioneer of the data lakehouse architecture in America and was founded in 2013 by the original creators of Apache Spark, Delta Lake and MLflow. Since its founding in 2014, eCloudvalley, a born-in-the-cloud partner focused entirely on AWS services, and has grown to 500 employees with geographic footprints across APAC region, in Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and United States with recent establishment in Vietnam, the company said.

Integrating Open Source Tech

The collaboration involves integration of numerous open-source technologies, construct data platforms for multi-cloud environments throughout the world, and aid customers in developing data-driven business strategies. Through data/AI-based solutions, the in-house data teams will greatly reduce their efforts on maintenance, coordination, and technical threshold; furthermore, the data teams are able to focus on innovative applications and business users can discover business values among big data.

“It’s a crucial issue for worldwide companies to make good use of data and boost the pace of development. However, generally they face two common challenges and stop from the turnkey of transformation. For starters, they lack data professionals and are unable to surmount the technological barrier. Second, it is difficult to use appropriate tools and procedures to deal with large amounts of unstructured data. Most of the time, before companies kick off a data application, their data team is overwhelmed by data cleansing and data preprocessing.” Linda Lin, the General Manager at eCloudvalley.

Today, Databricks is used by over 5,000 companies globally and across sectors, including ABN AMRO, Condé Nast, H&M Group, and Shell, to allow massive-scale data engineering, collaborative data science, full-lifecycle machine learning, and business analytics. As a result, eCloudvalley has built the partnership with Databricks to create value-added data solutions for diverse industrial scenarios, from retail and manufacturing to financial services.

“The eCloudValley team brings an impressive range of expertise and data and AI solutions to organizations who are embracing the cloud and driving digital transformation across industries.” Jia Woei Ling, Managing Director, North Asia at Databricks
