CoreWeave, an American cloud computing company, has marked its first deployment in Denmark by partnering with atNorth, a Nordic data center company, to host 22.5 MW IT capacity at the DEN01 data center in Copenhagen.

According to a CoreWeave press release, the deployment is scheduled to come online in Q4 2026, with a full network loop expected by mid 2027. The facility uses NVIDIA Blackwell systems connected through NVIDIA Quantum-X800 InfiniBand technology. CoreWeave also agreed to supply surplus heat to Copenhagen’s district heating network.

“Modern workloads demand digital infrastructure that is not only high performance, but also energy efficient and responsibly operated,” said Eyjólfur Magnús Kristinsson, CEO, atNorth. “By partnering with atNorth, CoreWeave gains access to DEN01’s infrastructure, designed for GPU-intensive processing, while supporting renewable energy development through power purchase agreements and helping warm local homes through heat reuse, contributing to the green transition.”

The Denmark deployment brings CoreWeave’s European footprint to nine data centers across five countries which are Denmark, United Kingdom, Spain, Sweden and Norway. The company is also expanding its global AI network into the Middle East and Asia Pacific, adding network points of presence in the United Arab Emirates, India, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, South Korea and Japan.

“Our customers need more than access to computing capacity. They need infrastructure that performs reliably at scale and the ability to move data and workloads wherever their business requires,” said Sachin Jain, Chief Operating Officer, CoreWeave. “We’re expanding our global infrastructure and the network connecting it together, so customers can focus on building and improving AI rather than managing the complexity underneath it.”

The expansion will extend Corweave’s existing network across North America and Europe into four continents. Each location uses multiple 400-gigabit-per-second connections, hardware-based MACsec encryption and redundant network paths to support secure, high-volume data transfers between regions.

Since June 30, 2026, CoreWeave operated 51 data centers worldwide with more than 1.5 GW of active power capacity and reported approximately 4.2 GW of contracted power during its August 11, 2026, earnings call.
