Singapore-headquartered data center platform Evolution Data Centres announced last week it has sold Phase 1 of its TH01 project in Bangkok to a global hyperscaler on a multiyear contract. The 12MW data center is expected to be ready for service by Q4 2026, according to the platform’s website.
The data center spans 20,470 square metres across Bang Na Trad Road in Bangkok and has a projected PUE of less than 1.3, as per its website.
Evolution is also working on Phase 2 of TH01 which is designed to support an AI deployment of 40MW IT load, the firm added. Phase 2 is expected to be ready for service by Q2 2027.
Also expected to be ready for service by Q2 2027 is its 200MW IT load TH02, its second data center in Thailand. Located at Thanon Phraeksa in Samut Prakan District, the facility spans 96,800 sqm, according to its website.
Evolution has footprint in Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines, with the Hanoi data center being the only one operational. The rest are expected to be ready for service by 2027.
