nLighten, a European digital infrastructure platform, has acquired a data center in Émerainville, east of Paris, from managed services provider oXya. The move strengthens nLighten’s presence in one of Europe’s key digital hubs and adds to its portfolio of over 30 data centers across seven countries.
According to a press release, the Émerainville facility marks nLighten’s eighth site in France and sits about one kilometer from its existing PAR1 site. It will continue serving oXya under a long-term services agreement, while additional capacity will be offered to enterprise customers through channel partners. The acquisition supports nLighten’s retail strategy of providing flexible, regional infrastructure solutions.
Harro Beusker, CEO and Co-Founder, nLighten, said, “the acquisition enhances operational synergies, enables dual-site deployments, strengthening capacity and Paris is a critical hub for regional connectivity and this facility supports our strategy of building smart, sustainable infrastructure that grows with customer requirements.”
Christophe Bronner, CFO, oXya, said, “The transition allows oXya to focus on its core cloud services while ensuring continuity and improved capabilities for its infrastructure. He praised nLighten’s expertise and commitment to sustainable operations as a benefit for the broader customer community.”
Anwar Saliba, Managing Director, nLighten France, said, “The three interconnected Paris sites enable enterprises to deploy more resilient architectures while meeting increasing demands for performance, service continuity, and digital sovereignty.”
The acquisition reflects nLighten’s broader strategy of expanding locally operated, sustainable digital infrastructure across France, positioning the company to support growing enterprise demands and the region’s digital transformation.
