Singapore-based developer and operator of data centers, Princeton Digital Group (PDG) has last week topped out the third building and broke ground on the fourth building in its 200 MW Johor campus, the company says in a Linkedin post. Both are part of Phase 4 and Phase 5 respectively of its JH1 campus located in Sedenak Tech Park (STeP), a flagship data center complex in Johor, Malaysia.
Spanning 128,000 square metres of land area out of which 80,000 sqm are reserved for colocation, JH1 is one of the largest AI-ready data centres in Southeast Asia, the company said. An upcoming campus, JH2, also with 200 MW capacity, is planned as a five-building campus.
In November, PDG debuted in South Korea with USD 700 Million data center investment beginning with a 48-MW Incheon campus which is the first phase of a 500-MW AI and cloud buildout plan for Korea, the company said in a press release. With the Korean addition, PDG’s portfolio now exceeds 1.2 GW of IT capacity across seven countries and more than 20 campuses. It has presence and operations in Singapore, Japan, India, Indonesia, China, Malaysia and South Korea.
