Yotta Data Services, a prominent data center provider from India, and BLC Holding Pvt. Ltd., a diversified entity encompassing manufacturing and services, have entered into a joint venture to build a state-of-the-art SuperCloud Data Center facility, in Ramkot, near Kathmandu, Nepal.
Spread across an area of more than three acres, the 60,000 sq.ft. facility named K1, will be developed with an overall capacity of up to 4MW critical IT load. This facility will be built as per Tier III standards, and is expected to be completed by in the next 24 months. K1 will also comply with requirements as per ISO 14000 & ISO 50000, and will be highly focused on information security and data privacy as per the standards set by ISO 27000, PCI-DSS, & SOC2/3.

Yotta, already has a portfolio of five large data centers in India, including two Tier-4 rated facilities in Navi Mumbai and Greater Noida, and is also part of a data center project in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Meanwhile, BLC brings a deep understanding of the local landscape, regulatory nuances, and valuable local relationships, including its network of enterprise customers.
