Yondr recently announced a milestone joint venture partnership with Everstone Group, a leading private investment firm across private equity, real estate, green infrastructure, credit and venture capital. The joint venture, with an initial capitalisation of US$1 billion, will support hyperscale clients and service the rapidly growing Indian market.

The first facility, under the joint venture partnership, will be located in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, for which land and power have already been acquired and will deliver 30MW by 2023 and 60MW of IT capacity when fully developed. Everstone’s real estate arm, Indospace, is India’s largest industrial real estate developer in India with over 47 million square feet under development. “Yondr is on an upward trajectory globally. Our investment in India and strategic partnership with Everstone Group is part of our growing commitment to the APAC region,” said Johnson Tan, Managing Director, APAC, Yondr Group. “The addition of Luque and Patrick adds a diverse set of skills to our team. They will be critical to the execution of our Mumbai data center and subsequent facilities in the region, as well as grow our overall business presence.”

In addition to welcoming its new members, the Yondr team in Singapore has also recently moved into a newly designed office at 79 Robinson Road in Singapore’s central business district. The Singapore office is Yondr’s headquarters for the APAC region.
