There are many factors contributing to Vietnam’s digital ascendancy. The dynamic startup scene in Vietnam is key in the nation’s accelerated Cloud and Datacenter growth. Coupled with the central government’s focus on 5G and data localization laws, the industry stands to undergo massive growth from private and public sectors. The latter’s effect was in some part, stemmed due to Indonesia’ example in enacting and adjusting data sovereignty laws, allowing for a working roadmap in dealing with national security measures. The focus towards developing an infrastructure centered on self-sufficiency via Viettel and the 5G roll-out has become a standard-bearer for all tech companies in Vietnam.
Vietnam’s population demographics skew young: 70% the population is under 35 years of age. This sector is particularly the expansion of cloud computing service delivery models. Ho Chi Minh, in particular, boasts a high concentration of start-ups, making it an extremely lucrative market. The city has made a name for itself as a new entrant to Southeast Asia’s many digital hubs, ready to challenge the status quo with its reliance on self-sufficiency should be explored for the vast opportunities it offers. Considering the immense reverberations Vietnam sent out to Southeast Asia and beyond with its careful selection of 5G network partners, Cybersecurity as a holistic framework becomes pertinent. In the Vietnam Cloud & Datacenter Convention (Ho Chi Minh) (VNCDC), W.Media will be featuring two colocated conventions targeted precisely at the industry’s pressing concerns.

Có nhiều yếu tố góp phần vào sự phát triển kỹ thuật số của Việt Nam. Bối cảnh khởi nghiệp năng động ở Việt Nam là chìa khóa cho sự tăng trưởng nhanh chóng của Trung tâm dữ liệu và Đám mây của quốc gia. Cùng với sự tập trung của chính phủ trung ương vào 5G và luật bản địa hóa dữ liệu, ngành công nghiệp này sẽ trải qua sự phát triển lớn mạnh từ các khu vực tư nhân và công cộng. Hiệu quả sau này một phần xuất phát do tấm gương của Indonesia trong việc ban hành và điều chỉnh luật chủ quyền dữ liệu, cho phép tạo ra một lộ trình làm việc trong việc giải quyết các biện pháp an ninh quốc gia. Việc tập trung phát triển cơ sở hạ tầng tập trung vào khả năng tự cung tự cấp thông qua Viettel và việc triển khai 5G đã trở thành tiêu chuẩn cho tất cả các công ty công nghệ tại Việt Nam.
Dân số Việt Nam có xu hướng trẻ hóa: 70% dân số dưới 35 tuổi. Lĩnh vực này đặc biệt là sự mở rộng của các mô hình cung cấp dịch vụ điện toán đám mây.
