Event Summary
The infrastructure of the future will be simple, resilient and agile. Is yours?
These days, it seems that agility is more important than sheer power or size when it comes to data storage. Recent economic volatility has revealed the ways in which traditional infrastructure can leave even the most robust enterprises on their backfoot when a shakeup in work structures occurs. Adopting flexible data management solutions allow you to drive growth regardless of changes to your business environment.
But simply adding new cloud technologies doesn’t guarantee cost or time efficiency. Cloud is not the final destination, it is just one of the operating model of your hybrid IT and multi-cloud strategy. Extraneous software licenses, disparate oversized hardware, redundant standby equipment and environment as well as legacy application development models, for instance, can add burdens to your system and greatly hinders the pace of your digital transformation.
All businesses want the ability to adopt new cloud technologies quickly and at low cost–the question is how. Data centre consolidation is the crucial next step you must take to ensure that you’re maximising your company’s capacity and agility while minimising overhead costs as well.
ASEAN countries such as Indonesia, Thailand, and to some extent Singapore have historically been seen as lagging behind the global market in terms of cloud agility. But this may be an advantage when it comes to data center consolidation. It gives us more leeway to relook and rethink how to consolidate, optimise and automate our existing infrastructure, platform and applications, which makes it easier for us to take advantage of cloud opportunities when they come along.
Tune into Pure Storage’s Talk: “The new norm: Optimizing database workloads to do more with less” to hear how to best take advantage of these opportunities. In this Webinar, Pure Storage will cover (1) Cost Reduction Strategies, (2) Streamlining your Systems, and (3) Agile Performance Optimization. Attendees will learn how to empower their IT departments to do more with less.
