Tencent Cloud and InterCloud Collaborate for Technical Integration

Tencent Cloud, today announced its collaboration with InterCloud, a global provider of fully managed enterprise-class solutions for connecting large-scale multi-cloud resources.

Both parties agreed to implement technical integration between Tencent Cloud and the InterCloud Network, a private infrastructure that enables enterprise-class solutions backed by advanced security and performance features, officials said. Tencent Cloud is the cloud computing business of Tencent.

This collaboration allows end customers to access Tencent Cloud’s full suite of services via the InterCloud Network, aiming to address the consistently growing demand for cloud-based services around the world.

Poshu Yeung, Senior Vice President, Tencent Cloud International said: “In view of Tencent Cloud’s goal to provide the best cloud technology services to businesses all over the globe, we look forward to our collaboration with InterCloud in providing safe, secure and reliable features through our agreed technical integration. The InterCloud Network is now ready for the boost by Tencent Cloud’s industry-leading cloud infrastructure and technologies to provide unparalleled services to multinational corporations.”

Through the collaboration, the InterCloud Network is set to be boosted by Tencent Cloud’s industry-leading cloud products and services to organizations and enterprises from different sectors such as finance, education, healthcare, retail, industry, transport, energy and radio and television.

Further, the network is poised to benefit from Tencent Cloud’s robust data centre infrastructures around the world, including the recent expansion of international data centres that ushered in added availability zones in Bangkok, Frankfurt, Tokyo and Hong Kong, which further broadened Tencent Cloud’s global footprint.
