STPI has signed an MoU with Wadhwani Foundation’s National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN) to promote entrepreneurship & create a nurturing ecosystem for startups incubated at STPI.
Wadhwani Foundation (WF) through NEN will be conducting a 14-week bootcamp program “NextGen IGNITE” for startups selected in CHUNAUTI 1.0.
Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), an organisation under MeitY, has been working for the creation of the startup ecosystem in the country and establishing 25 Centres of Entrepreneurship (CoEs) in various emerging technologies.
As per this MoU, NEN will extend the following dedicated program to STPI/STPINEXT startups incubated under various schemes/initiatives:
NextGen Ignite, this program is designed to support startups in a structured 14-week duration to reach an investable ready pitch and Venture Fastrack (VFT), this program is designed to work with early-stage startups in a structured consultative format to support their transformation, the organisation said.
“Signing of this MoU with Wadhwani Foundation is one such key step towards strengthening our partnership ecosystem & enabling our startups to leverage their expertise. Each Centre of Entrepreneurship that we are creating at STPI is an extension of our collaboration with the ecosystem around us. The kind of CoE ecosystem developed by STPI is very unique in terms of networking with a large number of partners that no other organization can provide,” said Dr. Omkar Rai, Director General, STPI.
The programs will offer the following benefits to the startups:
Global exposure on a process for productivity improvement, innovation, and technology dissemination, Pitch Simulators & Pitch Days, 360o community and support, over 35 hours of content, sessions, and additional material for reference, Global/local community of young enthusiastic teams, mentors & amp; evaluators and Certification from a global jury of distinguished entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial educators.
