STACK Infrastructure Opens First Tokyo Data Center Campus

STACK Infrastructure, a leading provider of hyperscale data center solutions, has announced the completion of its inaugural facility in Japan. Located in the Inzai District of Greater Tokyo, the 36MW campus marks a significant milestone in the company’s expansion in the Asia Pacific region.

The new facility, a joint venture with IPI Partners and Oaktree Capital Management, is designed to meet the growing demand for scalable data center capacity in Japan and the broader region. The 2.3-hectare campus includes two 18MW buildings, each equipped with advanced security features and AI-ready capabilities.

STACK’s investment in the Tokyo market comes as part of a broader strategy to establish a strong presence in key Asia Pacific regions. The company is also developing an 80MW campus in Osaka to further enhance its footprint in Japan.

Beyond Japan, STACK is expanding its operations in the Asia Pacific region with significant developments in Australia and South Korea. The company has plans for a 180MW campus in Melbourne, as well as facilities in Canberra and Incheon.
