Information System Audit and Control Association (ISACA)
ISACA (Previously known as the Information Systems Audit and Control Association) is an independent, nonprofit, global association that engages in the development, adoption and use of globally accepted information system (IS) knowledge and practices.
As of 31 December 2019, ISACA currently serves more than 140,000 constituents (members and professionals holding ISACA certifications) in more than 180 countries. The job titles of members are such as IS auditor, consultant, educator, IS security professional, regulator, chief information officer, chief information security officer, and internal auditor. ISACA has more than 200 chapters established in over 80 countries. ISACA Malaysia is part of the network of ISACA chapters. ISACA Malaysia Chapters provides education, resource sharing, networking, and other benefits to its members in Malaysia.

ISACA actively promotes research that results in the development of products both relevant and useful to IT governance, control, assurance and security professionals. ISACA developed and maintains the internationally recognized COBIT®, Val IT™ and Risk IT frameworks, helping IT professionals and enterprise leaders fulfill their IT governance responsibilities while delivering value to the business. In addition to the frameworks, ISACA offers publications that provide guidance on a wide range of topics, including how to implement the frameworks.
