Vietnam and Philippines likewise have growing potential despite COVID restrictions. Amazon is partnering with Vietnamese SME’s to accelerate cloud adoption amongst local firms, while Philippines’s Telco giant PLDT is helping advance reliability and sustainability goals in the region to attract global tech companies. Additionally, both countries are taking advantage of their long coastlines to prioritise additional subsea cable construction to meet the demand for local data storage.
