[Online] Thurs, 19th Aug 2021, 9:00am – 12pm (GMT +8)
Southeast Asia has seen some of the most dramatic and rapid developments in the cloud and IT industries over the past 18 months, and now is your chance to come together alongside top minds in the ASEAN region to discuss these transformations.
Our 19th August Summit will focus on the markets of Malaysia, Philippines, and Vietnam. As part of our ongoing Awards Season, we will highlight different projects and categories of achievement, as well as talk to local experts about how their market is responding to the exponential growth we’ve seen sweep through Southeast Asia.
So how are Malaysia, Philippines, and Vietnam transforming? All three countries offer unique incentives for global investment and boast dynamic local economies that are expanding by the day. Malaysia was recently selected as the site for Microsoft’s $1bn USD investment in Azure datacenters, signaling a vision of growth for the market and increasing its competitiveness with mature neighboring markets like Singapore. Vietnam and Philippines likewise have growing potential despite COVID restrictions. Amazon is partnering with Vietnamese SME’s to accelerate cloud adoption amongst local firms, while Philippines’s Telco giant PLDT is helping advance reliability and sustainability goals in the region to attract global tech companies. Additionally, both countries are taking advantage of their long coastlines to prioritise additional subsea cable construction to meet the demand for local data storage.
Join us as we dissect remarkable developments in a series exclusive of keynote presentations, panel discussions, and 1-on-1 interviews.
