RackBank announces launch of AI data center in Indore

RackBank Datacenters, and Indian provider of data centers and Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions for enterprises, has announced the launch of an AI-dedicated data center facility in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. The facility will be constructed in four phases in the city of Indore, which is a hub of industry, trade and technology.

In a press release, the company said, that the facility will have the capacity to house 60,000 GPUs and be scalable to 80 MW. It will deliver sub-10ms latency across India, and be prepared for NVIDIA’s next-generation GPU architecture.

Commenting on the ceremony, Narendra Sen, Founder and CEO of RackBank, said, “This datacenter is poised to be a pivotal hub for enterprises ready to leverage advanced AI infrastructure and drive innovation.”

Jeff Ferry, Head of Investments at RackBank, said, “Our facility offers a scalable, reliable infrastructure for AI development, making RackBank the partner for enterprises worldwide.”

The company further said that the facility will have liquid cooling technology and Rear Door Heat Exchangers (RDHX) for enhanced efficiency, and will aim for flexible Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) options, ranging from 1.1 to 1.3, to ensure efficient energy use.
