He is a registered Professional Engineer (Electrical) in Singapore and a 22kV Licensed Electrical Engineer registered with Energy Market Authority, Singapore. He was in the Technical Committee on Mains Failure Standby Generating System, which was responsible for Singapore Standard SS 535 : 2007 Code of Practice for Standby Generators (formerly  CP31 : 1996).”
