Director of Engineering & Solutions – South Asia | Jones Lang LaSalle

Segar is the Head of Engineering & Operations Solution for South Asia hub in Jones Lang LaSalle. He specializes in Operation Management, Engineering Excellence  and Quality Control and is experienced in handling Data Centre related Facilities Equipment in terms reliability, equipment uptime and Process Control.

His DC/ CEM experiences include:

• 9 years in Data Centre mgmt. – ranging from Tier 2 to Tier 4, driving Best Practices, Reliability, Efficiency, Standardisation & Risk Management
• Water Treatment system for 9 years – driving quality, uptime and cost efficiency (by using new technology and improvement to existing Control systems).
• Factory Automation system – 11 years in Building Automation. Developed a strong team with strong emphasis to innovate current process on cycle time, uptime, efficiency
• 9 years in Facilities Management which includes all building equipment, likes of Electrical system, HVAC, Class 100 cleanroom, Fire Protection & Alarm systems

Segar holds a Bachelor in Engineering Management from University of Western Australia and Advanced Diploma in Engineering from Temasek Polytechnic, Diploma in Facilities and Asset Management
