Country General Manager | Bridge Data Centres
Edwin is the Country General Manager of Bridge Data Centres Malaysia.
As a seasoned IT professional, Edwin brings with him over 23 years’ experience in wide range of IT strategy and business transformation engagements, data centre design and build, solution strategy, enterprise system and infrastructure implementations and many more.
He began his career as a System Engineer with Western Digital. He later progressed to be a Practice Manager (SEA) and Managing Consultant (APJ) with Hewlett-Packard Enterprise where he was attached to the Strategic IT Advisory Services, Technology Services business unit. Prior to that, he spent 4 years with Accenture, a global consulting firm where he led the IT Strategy and Transformation (ITS&T) Malaysia practice and performed various IT consulting and project delivery work in the SEA, APJ and Europe region.
Before joining Bridge Data Centres, Edwin was the General Manager of Telekom Malaysia, responsible for strategic business program planning and execution, solution innovation, project implementation, leading a multi-year business transformation program and overseeing its data centre and cloud business.
Edwin is a frequent contributor on topics like digital transformation, technology innovation, hybrid cloud computing, data centre facilities and infrastructure, converged systems and service management. He is also an active advocate of promoting Malaysia as a Regional Data Centre Hub, and previously served as the capacity Deputy Chairman for Malaysian Data Centre Alliance (MDCA). He is also an Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Specialist (ATS) and certified ISO/IEC 20000 internal auditor and consultant.
Edwin received his education from RMIT University, Melbourne Australia and he attended Cranfield University, UK Strategic Leadership and Innovation Master Class back in 2014.
