Darren Webb

Managing Director and Senior Vice President | DCSG

Darren is currently the Managing Director of DCSG, a software defined data centre services company that both utilizes the latest data centre technology and our own proprietary software platform to deliver colocation and access to cloud services to major global MNC’s, including FSI’s.

As a senior business leader with 25 years experience in both global telecoms and data centre industry, and over 10 years of international experience (based in Singapore since 2012) Darren has successfully led both Regional Business Units at a P&L level and high performing global sales teams – focussed on margin and driving profit. Being used to working in global matrix organisations he has also been integral to both M&A programmes and B2B integrations, both in Europe and Asia.

He is passionate about building and leading high performing teams, working alongside great talent and giving them the space and backing to do what they are good at. Darren is at his best when faced with new challenges, love winning and sharing success. He particularly enjoys the challenge of moving a business into a new geography or a new market, determining what success looks like, setting a vision, having to show agility and implementing on how we are going to achieve it as a team.

One of Darren’s most enjoyable periods of his career was leading the C&W business in Asia, working with a great leadership team to turn around that business by creating a challenger environment, where everyone shared the single vision of standing out from his peer group by providing world class customer service. He had a culture of win together or lose together, take chances, make some mistakes but always be better next time.

In 2015 Darren undertook his Exec MBA at ESSEC, focussed on doing business in Asia and emerging markets. These studies drove his passion for digitalisation, big data and analytics. Darren graduated, with the proud honour of being awarded the Highly Commended status in 2016. In 2017 he added an INSEAD course focussed on Digital Disruption.
