Danny Higgins

Head, Solution Architects, APJ | Pure Storage

Danny Higgins leads the APJ Solution Architects team and has been with Pure since 2014.

He’s been working with data for more than 20 years and spent the majority of his career working in the financial services industry.

Danny started his career in banking managing databases for mission critical applications and progressed through roles in engineering to become the lead database architect where he designed and built Standard Chartered Banks private cloud Database as a Service infrastructure.

Danny discovered Pure Storage when he was evaluating emerging flash based technologies to enhance this DBaaS offering and was impressed enough to join the company. He initially served as the APJ data architect before moving on to lead the team of specialists that provide expertise in Modern Data Analytics and emerging AI technologies.

Danny holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computing from Manchester University, England.
