Ashish Dandekar (AD) has 30+ years of Industry experience, 20 years in consulting and is presently a Council Member, Gerson Lehrman Group, USA. He is currently advising an NBFC and in the past provided technology advisory services to one of the largest private Bank for 6 years. His major focus is on transitioning efficiency through improved governance, risk management, business continuity, disaster recovery & resilience.

Prior to plunging into Advisory services, AD was the Chief Information Officer and Vice President at National Stock Exchange of India Ltd’s Group company- Power Exchange India Limited. He was responsible for managing Corporate Information Technology, Energy Market Business Operations & Exchange Product development. In senior leadership positions, AD has also served other large organisations such as Capgemini Consulting, National Stock Exchange and Tata Electric Companies. Over the last 10+ years, as an independent consultant, he has provided advisory services to large organisations such as Unique Identification Authority of India, The Clearing Corporation of India, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd, National Stock Exchange, NSE.IT, Tata Capital Ltd, etc. AD’s professional domains include Business Continuity Management, Disaster Recovery planning, Data Centre strategies incl. planning & design, Information Security Management, IT Risks Assessments, Networks, Enterprise Backups, Power Systems Telecom, Power Markets & related technologies. He was the member of the core tech team of Tata Group in 1997 which strategized the entry of the Tata’s into Telecom business.
