Pi Datacenters announces Rs 200 crore expansion plans in Hyderabad

Pi Datacenters has announced plans to invest Rs 200 crores over two years in a new facility that will come up in Hyderabad, Telangana. The company plans to use the facility to lead its newly-formed AI Cloud vertical. Hyderabad will also serve as the company’s new headquarters.

The news comes as Pi Datacenters expands into AI Cloud, managed services, and retail verticals. The company is betting big on retail customers as they offer higher revenues.

The company that currently has facilities in Vijaywada, Kochi, NOIDA and Mumbai, serves over 300 customers spread across industries like banking, manufacturing and pharmaceuticals.

Pi Datacenters has a cumulative capacity of 500,000 square feet of built-up area, and 60 MW of power. It boasts of one of India’s first greenfield, and the world’s fourth largest Uptime Institute certified Tier 4 datacenter.
