Ooredoo Qatar aims to improve AI capability using Google Cloud

Qatar-based telecom major Ooredoo has announced a strategic partnership with Google Cloud to transform its data analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities. The announcement was made in the presence of Sheikh Ali Bin Jabor Bin Mohammad Al-Thani (CEO of Ooredoo Qatar) and Abdul Rahman Al-Thehaiban (MD, Middle East, Africa and Turkey, Google Cloud).

In a press release, Ooredoo said, “By harnessing Google Cloud’s advanced machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions and Smart Analytics, Ooredoo Qatar will gain deeper insights into customer needs and preferences. This intelligence will also drive improvements in network performance optimization, personalized offerings, and proactive customer support.” It further said that Ooredoo Qatar opted for Google Cloud environment to fuel innovation and collaboration while using cutting edge cloud technology.
