Omani data center services provider, Datamount, is preparing to unveil one of the largest data centers in the country. This new facility, named Al Bandar Centre, is situated in the Muscat Governorate and is on track for an official inauguration in the Wilayat of Al Seeb. Al Bandar Centre marks Datamount’s third establishment in Oman, in addition to its existing centers in Muscat and Al Jabal al Akhdhar.

The development of Al Bandar Centre is being executed in multiple phases, boasting a comprehensive capacity to accommodate over 700 racks. These racks have been meticulously designed to adhere to stringent specifications and standards, ensuring full compliance with the demanding criteria of Uptime Tier III and TIA 942 Rated 3 certifications.

Significantly, the center has recently been seamlessly integrated into the local infrastructure, benefiting from a robust connection to the electricity grid and chilled water lines. These crucial services are expertly provided by Tabreed Oman, a strategic partnership with Datamount.
