Nvidia is taking a novel approach to infrastructure challenges by partnering with global real estate giant CBRE as the demand for AI computing power surges. The collaboration, revealed by Nvidia to CRN, focuses on leveraging CBRE’s data center solutions expertise to support Nvidia’s AI expansion across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
This unconventional partnership sees CBRE joining the Nvidia Partner Network (NPN) as a solutions advisor consultant. While CBRE is known for its commercial real estate business, this partnership specifically targets its data center consulting arm. According to an Nvidia spokesperson, the relationship centers around CBRE’s deep understanding of data center capacity and infrastructure, not its broader real estate portfolio.
CBRE’s role will be to assist enterprises in identifying and securing suitable data center solutions, focusing on the power, cooling, and network capacity necessary for deploying Nvidia’s accelerated AI infrastructure at scale. This specialized knowledge is becoming increasingly crucial, particularly with the advent of Nvidia’s powerful new Blackwell-based systems, which demand significant power and cooling capabilities.
CBRE’s data center advisory services, as outlined on their UK website, include helping clients find colocation facilities equipped for AI workloads, as well as providing operational and logistical support for GPU deployments, including sourcing, inventory management, and installation. As a solutions advisor within the NPN, CBRE will provide expert consultation to customers implementing Nvidia products and technologies.
While CBRE declined to comment, the partnership signals Nvidia’s proactive approach to addressing the infrastructure challenges associated with widespread AI adoption.
