NTT Global Data Centers and Cloud Infrastructure India that represents the India region of NTT Global Data Centers, which in turn is a division of the Japanese global conglomerate Nippon Telegraph and Telephone (NTT Ltd.), is all set to launch a new hyperscale complex in NOIDA in Northern India.
According to a post made on its official profile on a professional networking site, the scalable facility will have a total of 52.8 MW critical IT load. On its website, it tells potential clients of its new NOIDA 2 data center, “Spread over six acres, the campus will support 52.8MW capacity across two buildings. Building A will support 22.4MW of critical IT load and building B will support 30.4MW. The buildings have seismic dampeners to protect the structure and best ensure the protection and continual operation of your equipment.”
The carrier-neutral facility will benefit from connectivity to major hubs due to its strategic location near India’s National Capital Region of New Delhi. Access to public, private and hybrid cloud providers will be one of its main USPs. The launch will take place on January 12.
NTT has facilities in more than 20 countries the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and the Asia Pacific region. At present, NTT has 16 data centers across India in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Bengaluru, with a total installed capacity of 200 MW. It plans to scale this up to 400 MW over the next four years.
