NeevCloud launches AI SuperCloud in India

NeevCloud, an Indian provider of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Cloud services, has launched the country’s first indigenously developed Artificial Intelligence SuperCloud. According to a statement released by the company, NeevCloud plans to deploy AI Cloud infrastructure including 40,000 GPUs and storage worth US$ 1.5 Billion by 2026.

Narendra Sen, Founder & CEO, NeevCloud, shed further light on their plan of action saying, “Our deployment strategy is structured across several phases to ensure scalability and effective utilization.” He went on to say, “Initially, we’re focusing on targeted regions and industries with the highest demand like BFSI, automotive, and healthcare organizations. Phase one involves establishing the foundational infrastructure and optimizing it for efficient operations,” adding, “Subsequent phases will involve scaling the infrastructure based on demand patterns, aligning with the growth trajectory of AI and cloud computing requirements across sectors. We aim to fulfil $300-400 Mn by next year of our goal of US $ 1.5 Billion.”

But amidst all this, NeevCloud hasn’t forgotten about the little guy i.e India’s thriving Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector. The company said in a statement, “MSMEs are expected to be the major contributors to the growth in India however there are challenges in terms of affordability, billing, transparency, and personalized support. NeevCloud aims to solve these challenges and democratize access to AI and supercomputing for all enterprises, startups by introducing ‘AI Supercomputing as a Service’ model and providing the world’s lowest prices for Cloud GPUs at US $ 1.69/hour reducing costs by up to 50 per cent. It can enable companies to leverage Generative AI and deploy Large Language Models (LLM) across various use cases capable of solving India’s unique challenges.”

NeevCloud is also mindful of the sustainability factor and has developed its own immersion cooling system named Varuna. “Varuna, our indigenous patented liquid immersion cooling system, is a testament to our commitment to sustainability without sacrificing affordability. With Varuna, we’re able to put the servers into an immersion cooling tank, which is essentially a data center in a box and is safe to use in places that have high temperatures like India,” says Sen.

He elaborates, “While developing Varuna, we’ve focused on not just environmental impact, but also long-term cost-efficiency. Varuna significantly reduces energy consumption with a Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) from 1.5 to 1.05, achieving exceptional sustainability. Its energy-efficient design aligns with our mission to offer eco-friendly solutions while ensuring cost savings for our operations and, in turn, for our clients.”

NeevCloud aims to set up data centers in Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Noida and plans to achieve 100% clean energy across all of them.
