Nebius Group, an AI cloud company, is expanding its presence in Mäntsälä Finland, by building a second data center. The new facility will have a capacity of 70 MW coming online from 2027, increasing the total capacity to 455 MW across three sites.
Mäntsälä was the location of the company’s first data center, and the experience gained there has informed how sites are built and operated elsewhere. In the next phase, Nebius hopes to build on that experience and the relationship developed with the municipality and local community.
In a LinkedIn post, Nebius and local government officials commented on the expansion project.
Andrey Korolenko, Chief Infrastructure and Product Officer of Nebius, said, “Expanding in Mäntsälä is a natural next step for us. We know the site well, we have an experienced team here, and it has played an important role in shaping how we build and operate our AI cloud as we add capacity.”

Readers will recall that Nebius had reported a sharp increase in revenue in Q2 2026, as demand for AI cloud infrastructure continued to grow. The company’s results cover its AI cloud business as well as its autonomous vehicle platform, Avride, and education technology service TripleTen.
