National media is reporting (as at 3 pm AEST) that the National Australia Bank has been hit by outages which has prevented their customers from accessing their digital and online accounts.
The “downdetector.com.au” website suggests that the peak of problem reports occurred at 2 pm and while the numbers declined through the course of the afternoon they had not reduced by 5 pm to the level seen prior to the outage.
At 3:42 pm NAB posted on X that they were aware of an issue impacting some of [their] services including Internet banking, mobile and desktop and that teams were working to resolve this. At the time of writing, the outage does not yet appear to be resolved.
