MN Holdings Bhd has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Mutu Nusantara Sdn Bhd, has successfully secured a contract worth RM98 million from an undisclosed client. The contract pertains to a comprehensive high voltage horizontal directional drilling (HDD) and cable bridge works project specifically tailored for a data center.
The essence of the agreement involves Mutu Nusantara Sdn Bhd taking on the responsibility of designing, building, and commissioning the high voltage HDD and cable bridge infrastructure essential for the optimal functioning of the data center.
This significant undertaking encompasses a wide range of tasks, including the design phase, supply of necessary materials, delivery, meticulous installation, rigorous testing, and the final commissioning of the high voltage HDD and cable bridge works. The designated data center is strategically located in the southern region of Malaysia.
MN Holdings, in compliance with regulatory requirements, disclosed this development in a filing with Bursa Malaysia. The contract, spanning a duration of 15 months, is slated to commence on December 1, 2023, and conclude on January 15, 2025.
This sizable and time-bound venture underscores the company’s commitment to providing cutting-edge solutions in the realm of high voltage infrastructure for data centers, further solidifying its position in the industry.
