Event Summary
200 IT and DC professionals and business leaders are expected to attend the Malaysia Cloud and Datacenter Digital Summit – Join us!
Malaysia stands at the very edge of maturing into a fully fledged Cloud Computing hub. In Budget 2020, a total of MYR 21.6 bn was earmarked into the National Fiberisation & Connectivity Plan (NFCP). Put in place to accelerate the roll-out of 5G connectivity throughout Malaysia, the resulting high-speed access from NFCP, allows for a total evolution of how businesses exist in the digital sphere. New service delivery models tapping into Cloud Computing technologies (and powered by Data Centers) are projected to revolutionize the industry’s approach to its consumer base. The NFCP is designed as a catalyst for this new normal.
At the very heart of the question of the rise in Cloud Technologies in Malaysia, is the market position that the country has its sights on. With its expansive terrain, and proximity to a relatively developed cloud computing hub such as Singapore, it has the potential to absolutely challenge mature markets. Recognising this yet to be maximised window of growth, global players like Alibaba have shrewdly and rapidly moved to set-up operations in Malaysia.
The Malaysia Cloud and Datacenter Digital Summit is tailored precisely to the massive game-changing nature of 5G, and the reverberations it carries for all major players in Malaysia’s Cloud Ecosystem. This summit zeroes in on mutual developments in Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and the ever-looming takeover of AI as Industry 4.0 comes into view. Fundamentally, the question of fortifying Cloud systems in order to fully gain industry and consumer confidence, and secure the growth of Cloud, will be debated.
Industry leaders and new entrants can expect to be in the forefront on the debate of issues surrounding the field in W.Media’s Malaysia Cloud and Datacenter Digital Summit.
